With some anxiety and a tonne of excitement I am getting ready to hit the road. If only MSP would respond to my undying love I would be leaving today! Having said that, a few loose ends to clean up and then I will head out on the road.

I plan to ride down the coast to Northern California and pick up where I left off this summer. Couple day ride to Mendocino and let it evolve from there. Key West looks like a great end point for now. One thing I have learned is to not make the destinations the point of the journey, but rather to let the trip and people guide you along. Ted Simon, Rene Cormier, Mike Carter, Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman have all provided me with much insight and inspiration. Their travels make my little adventure seem tame and gives me much humility.

Thank you very much to everyone helping out with support and encouragement. I have been amazed and I am truly grateful. It’s one thing to love what you do and another to do what you love. Hopefully much more to come…..
