We tried desperately to carry on yesterday. The storm was relentless though and interstate/turnpike travel is a fair amount of work when the sun is shinning. Cell after cell of dark foreboding thunder and lightening kept coming at us. Traffic would slow to 40 miles an hour as the quarter sized rain pellets would bounce off the concrete!

That was yesterday and after a wonderful afternoon of food and movies in a luxurious room at the Hampton Inn. Today we are full of promise and clearer skies today!
