Definitely, the most ambitious ride that Laura has done! 9,750 kilometres in 3 weeks and we tried our best to visit as many friends and family as possible.  This is much easier said than done and we sincerely wish we could have stopped and visited with everyone.

It was time for us to make a trip out west and next year we have Africa and Spain on the docket. This trip kept the budget intact and gave us both a great experience together. I have done the cross-continent trip either North-South or East-West a number of times (I think I am close to 10). Laura got a lot of miles in the saddle this trip. She pushed herself and it wasn’t without some furious storms and plenty of sunshine. Another epic trip in the books.
